Jack, Esq.

My grandfather, Jack Brown, passed away this evening, at age 88. I'm featuring this shot of him from a few years ago in his honour.

My grandfather, Jack Brown, passed away peacefully this evening at age 88.

I joke that I had received the photography gene from him. He started photography in 1938, and made his own enlarger. Over the years, he's won a stack of awards, and was an Associate of the Australian Photographic Society.

It saddens me deeply that he'll never be able to take another photo.

Rest well, Grandy, and thank you. You'll be missed, mate.
